Black Duck Cidery Bottle Conditioned Apple
The ciders come from blends of apples grown here in our orchards. We use native yeast and take a hands off minimalist approach to fermentation. We never add sugar, fine or filter our cider. We let the fruit speak for itself and variation from season to season should be expected in the finished beverages. Some of the apples are modern types such as Honeycrisp, Goldrush and Spigold. Old American varieties like Golden Russet, Roxbury Russet, Northern Spy and Baldwin become part of the blend. English and French apples such as Brown’s Apple, Major, Muscat de Dieppe, Harry Master’s Jersey, Kingston Black and many others originally from foreign apple lands are mixed with their American counterparts to produce the final blend of over 40 different types of Apples.
